I had an outstanding experience working with my physical therapist, Mike. After struggling with Achilles tendinitis, I started therapy unsure how long recovery would take. Mike immediately put together a clear, personalized plan and explained everything in a way that made me feel confident and supported. Within three weeks of going, I noticed a huge improvement in my pain and mobility. Mike was always patient, knowledgeable, and fun to work with. His guidance made all the difference, and I genuinely feel like I’m back on track because of him. If you’re dealing with an injury or chronic pain, I can’t recommend this place highly enough.

I "graduated" from SERC this week, after about 12 weeks of PT needed for the aggravation of a years old back injury. By working with Mike, I now have a series of great PT exercises that help me stretch and lightly work my core as well as the impacted area on my lower back. The whole team at SERC in LFK is kind, funny and the music rocks (just ask Mike to play your favorite band)

I had a shoulder injury that lingered for months until SERC took care of it. Julianne was my therapist, she treated me with a combination of dry needling and rehab/exercise. I felt relief after my first visit, and it only took a few weeks until my shoulder felt 100% again. Had a very positive experience with SERC and highly recommend them.

I got a severe concussion with a neck injury in February and just got cleared to stop physical therapy. The SERC staff have been my rock getting me through it, and I am so grateful for them! Robin at the front is the sweetest person and always makes my day better; she also diligently worked to make sure my PT was cleared and got me scheduled ahead of time. Mike was my main physical therapist who worked with me to gradually recover and I owe so much of my recovery to him. He is very knowledgeable and will implement new exercises or pull back based on your feedback. He made sure I was challenged but also taken care of. I also had Tyler often and he was amazing, great to talk to and very personable and empathetic, which made the whole process less daunting. In general such a supportive place for recovery and I highly recommend them!!

I used SERC for the first time. Mike was fantastic. He was so nice and really understood my pains and the exercises needed to assist in the healing. I will definitely always use SERC when I need any kind of therapy in the future!

Julianne, Mike, and Robyn are awesome. I highly recommend this Lawrence team. When I came in, I couldn’t walk over a half mile, stand very long, sleep without pain meds due to back and leg pain for several years. They worked on strengthening my core and in a few months I felt better than I have in years!!!!

Serc Physical Therapy on 27th provided an awesome experience! Friendly staff with helpful services and treatment plans that helped improve my shoulder following surgery. Would highly recommend Mike as he was exceptional!

Mike Mendiola is absolutely fantastic. He takes the time to really listen and understand what I’m experiencing, which makes such a difference. I have hypermobility issues with my joints and ligaments, and he’s incredibly knowledgeable and thoughtful in how he approaches my care. Everything feels tailored, safe, and manageable. Highly recommend!

I am writing to share my feedback regarding my recent experience with your team. I want to specifically commend Ms. Julienne for her exceptional professionalism and understanding. She was incredibly focused on the small details of my care and maintained a calm demeanor that helped me feel much better. Her work with the dry needling and her healing hands were both amazing and calming. I also wanted to mention that I missed Robin’s assistance this time. During my last visit for neck pain, he was very helpful in adjusting my neck and back; the specific technique he used between the vertebrae provided a great deal of relief. Your team is truly excellent, especially when it comes to empathy and professionalism. While I certainly hope I do not experience any further injuries or accidents, you can definitely expect me back should I need treatment for my neck pain again in the future. 10/10 recommend! I had struggled with shoulder and neck pain for over a year and was unable to participate in activities (such as weightlifting) that I enjoyed. After 1 month of working with the PTs at SERC, I was back to doing things I enjoyed and actually felt confident I wasn’t going to injure myself again.
